Well, like I promised I'll post about camp.

First Day

Charlotte, Sherrill and I didn't bring anything for school. Just our camping stuff. Then went to Tampines Mall to eat Mac before going back school again. Skip all the way to the part where we reached Dairy Farm Adventure camp.

Anyway, our bus was the last to reach. In the bus it was super noisy, the 1E1 people just can't keep silent for a moment. Turns out there wasn't enough first aiders so instead of being Group Leaders, we St John members are going to be Medics. It's so totally different being a Medic/ Senior. We not only get to slack abit [ at night more casualties] but also get to order the Sec1s around and make them do Up Downs [squats]. Yun Si Mam and Aythia were there to be Medics and Instructors too. Had night hike around 9 plus too. It was freaking scary.



It was totally dark, me and Sherrill went with Valour 2 [ the guys]. Aaron sir positioned us there. That Aloysious supposed to walk with us but at the end he went with Integrity 2. We had to walk through the forest of Bukit Timah Hill which was around out camp site and it was waaaayyy dark. Without the light stick I have, I can't even see my hand in front of me. We had to hold on to the person's shoulders in front of us, Sherrill kept letting go one hand and I freaked out and kept saying, " Hold on la!" In a whisper because we aren't allowed to make noise at all. Iman dressed up in everything army print and he stood so silently there that when I turned to look at him, I screamed. It was that scary cause there was a torch and I could only see his teeth! Trekked all the way to the big open field, the Dairy Farm Quarry. The stars all very nice, it's like a lot, considering that we're in Singapore. Talked to Uma and Faris with Xin Yi. I don't know where OC and Charlotte went. Had to walk back to the Camp Site and it was freaking creepy. Eric didn't want to hold on to the person infront of him and the guy infront of me didn't want to hold on to Eric. I obviously complained to Aloysious after that. Wouldn't you complain if you were so freaking scared to get lost?



When we reached a barrier, Aythia made me walk with this Malay girl who didn't look well. I observed her as we walked back and notice she kept looking to the ground and not around her. I knew something was wrong. When we got back to camp to a brighter place [the sick bay], I looked into her eyes and could tell she saw something. Sherrill and I told her to lie down. I thought I was just imagining about her seeing something. But turns out she did. It freaked me, Sherrill, OC and Charlotte out alot.



Charlotte and Sherrill went for Mobile duty so only me and OC in the room. Oc Valerie and I talked then later, Charlotte and OC went to look for the boys, who had fallen down this afternoon, to changer their wound dressing. Luckily, Ms Mel came in the room to talk to me and Sherrill, or else it would have been really creepy. Li Lin [ the casualty] was already asleep by then, same as the other malay girl [another casualty, not the one who saw something].



Ms Mel at first didn't want to tell me what exactly happened and what the girl saw, but after awhile, she told me and Sherrill that a few other malay boys also saw. I believed it was just a hallucination, but after hearing that Rama and some instructors also saw, I couldn't really doubt it at all. At night I got really freaked out, because it was dark and we were sleeping at upstairs. Only four of us, the Medics upstairs. We slept around 4plus, OC Valerie, Charlotte and Sherrill all lay down and *boom* fall asleep. But I was so tramatised that I couldn't even sleep. Suddenly, the room got colder and I freaked out. In my mind I was like, Don't open eyes, don't open eyes. Finally at around 5plus, after the alarm went off, I fell asleep.



Second day



All the Student Leaders overslept because we all slept quite late. In the morning, I apologised to Miao Jing again because I knew she still hadn't forgiven me and I have had quite enough of her attitude, so I said sorry in front of everyone. She was smiling smugly because she thought I was paiseh. Okay, I was a little but not really alot. But at least everything was fine now. After breakfast, there was not much casualty other than changing the bandages of a few of the boys from yesterday.



Went for the earlier hike with Charlotte. We walked the trail of last night's hike, but this time to the foot of Bukit Timah Hill. So far no casualties. Went back to camp and there was this guy who had fever. So me and Charlotte tended to him, 38.5degrees. We asked Ashraf to help us sponge him because he had high fever and we can't sponge him, it's abit disgusting. Er, not to mention a little fat..but it's also because he is a guy. So small Ashraf, there were two Ashrafs, one is taller the other is shorter. Then, a guy who had nose bleed came to the sick bay too. Khairul sir asked him,

"When did you notice you have nose bleed?"
"Maple."
"Maple? What's that?"
"Computer game."
I fell about laughing because it was retarded. Then Khairul Sir gave him the weird look then said,
"I mean when in camp?"
"Oh, my group at the Lost Island then later, our group.."
"Skip all to the part WHEN you NOTICED."
"I putting my cup back that time then I notice."

Super funny, haha. Khairul Sir and Charlotte and Ashraf talked in the sick bay awhile, then Charlotte went to do Mobile Duty so left me and Ashraf in the room, Khairul Sir went out of the room. So Ashraf helped Yun Si Mam and got to stay in the room to bring down the guy's temperature.

I left camp at 3.30pm because at first I wanted to dance with Su Tieng they all. But after recieving a call from Joana that they changed location from her house to Changkat CC, I decided to go back to camp so I called OC to tell her to inform Mr Oh that I was coming back to help. Tieng called me and kept asking me why I didn't want to join them so I explained to her. Ate Mac with my dad on the way back to camp. A number of people were surprised to see me back, I admit, I was more used to camp, while the rest didn't even notice I was gone. By the time I came back, they were preparing for dinner. Talked to Aloysious awhile. His group, Harmony 2, ran into the forest so he and Fairudos had to chase after them. Turns out Aloysious fell into a pithole, and then they went so deep into the forest that the grass which grew there were up to his chest level. They both recieved alot of cuts and when Rama found out about it, the boys were severely delt with. Senior NCO Nadiah helped Aloysious dress the wound, but she dressed it so roughly that when the Burnol was gone and I asked Aloysious if he want me to put more, he say don't want. Haha.

During the Campfire, when we doing the " Cha chika Dance", Hazic very funny, shaking his bum and all and spinning around. Haha! I should have recorded it down! Then, suddenly, Charlotte got up, told me, " Sherrill crying!" And ran off. I followed after her and then, we found out she felt left out. I guess Charlotte felt bad and everything, she went to cry. OC was with Lynn [ not spelling error, there were two different lyn/lynn] and I was with Charlotte, Sherrill had no one. I kinda feel bad too. So, during Night Snack, talk to Sherrill abit with OC. Then, I made Sherrill sit with Charlotte. Suddenly, I don't know why but Charlotte put her head on the table and slept. I thought she was sleeping. Then, OC sat with her friends. So I talked with Lyn and Xian Li and Sykia. Khairul Sir told me to get some biscuts to eat and then, gave Xian Li curry puff:DD Later on, I walked pass him and he was like,

"Zoie, you this year sec3 ah?"
"Yes, Sir"
"I thought you same age as Valerie!"
"SIR, I LOOK SO OLD MEH?" *laugh * "I only sec3!"
* Sir laugh* "No really, I thought you same as Valerie."

Then, I laugh and went to look for my OC to tell her what Khairul Sir said. What happened next was really messy. I found OC crying, I don't know why, and I saw Khairul sir and Yun Si Mam around Charlotte, Zu and Sherrill had a concerned look on their faces. I rushed over to Charlotte and found her half awake half asleep. I think she was going to faint or fainted. They helped her back to the sick bay and I went to look for OC. She walked out to a very secluded place, the stairs at the back. I freaked out because it was really dark. I comforted OC and then we headed back to bunk. Once OC felt better, we went to look for Sherrill and the rest. Mam told us to bathe, but we waited for Lynn and the rest to come back.

Rawr, there was a frog in the toilet! Didn't dare bathe. Lyn tried to shoo it by shouting, didn't work): So me, Xin Yi and Si Ning went to look for the guys to help. Saw Yong Hwe Sir and Ong Sir half way. They helped us chase it away. I wasn't so tramatized by then, so I could bathe in peace:DD this time, I slept with Lyn and Xin Yi at the bottom of the bunks. WAY BETTER THAN UPSTAIRS!

Last Day
Woke up and went sat the bus back to school. This time was with class, 1n2! Same bus as Aloysious too, so easier to contact later to go church. During morning PT, all the sec1s had to do more than 100 squats! So ridiculous. Ate with Nick and Aloysious before heading to church. Had bapitsium interview after that. Ate at Katong for dinner. There was this guy who was with his friend and a girl, he smiled at me, and I gave him that digusted look. When he went back to his seat, he smiled again. I stared at him. Later, while I was going to the toilet, I saw him and his friend. Turns out that girl was his girlfriend. I pity that girl. He is a big flirt.

Today
Went to watch Water Horse with Dionne at Marina Square. Bought bikinis together at John Little. It's super cheap, 10bucks only and the pattern is nice! I bought it because I had no more swim wear and also going swimming with Nicole tomorrow. Dionne is tagging along too(: A great time to bond together:DD

Rawr alot of mozzie bites!

The bikini is brown by the way(: The top is brown with pale yellow and khaki brown, bottom is pure brown. Dionne's is the exact same pattern except her's are blue.
